Introduction	With a technical diploma in tourism from IFRN (Institute of Education, Science and Technology at Rio Grande do Norte State), Allan participated in several leadership programs in high school due to his commitment to community development. Allan worked for non-profit agencies in Natal, Brazil. Due to his passion for public service as well as leadership skills, Allan was selected among thousands of students to become a Youth Ambassador of Brazil through the U.S Department of State Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs. He was also selected among a group of Youth Ambassadors to participate in the Youth Ambassadors Summer Program at Phillips Exeter Academy in 2011. Allan is currently an alumnus of a World Learning program, a USAP student, a Make-a-Difference scholar at Green Mountain College, a NUPACE scholar at Nagoya University in Japan, and a former fellow of the Forest Foundation Fellowship Undergraduate Program.
