Introduction	I'm the owner of Modern Outpost, and it's my job is to find the latest innovations that power people's adventures far from civilization. I believe that in this day & age, our engineering efforts should be hard at work liberating us, not limiting us. We need to be able to unplug from the grid & other systems at a moment's notice, without completely losing our standard of living. Whether its traveling to a foreign country, surviving the big earthquake, or escaping to the wilderness for a weekend of kayaking, you need equipment that will simply work when you need it.
