| Introduction | I am no fortune teller, but I have studied I Ching for 60 years and have two books published. Finding the traditional text confusing and sometimes misleading, I have been searching for a new approach and have finally found it! I compare prediction outcomes to extract a core meaning. The core meaning must be clear and easy for the layman to understand. I am looking for people to help me by making predictions and telling their stories. In this way, we can verify if the I Ching oracles are consistent for everyone and not just me. The ancients must have done this by consulting the I Ching for hunting and other practical matters and comparing outcomes. In modern times, most people use the I Ching for insight and spiritual growth. This is fine, but many people want to know if the I Ching can be used for practical purposes as well. I am building a database of I Ching prediction outcomes so people can read real-life stories to illustrate the empirical meaning for themselves. If a really accurate oracle can be made in a form that anyone can understand, I believe it will change society forever for the better. I think this is what is needed today, and the ancients would approve. |
