Introduction | I am a retired teacher of ELA/Literacy (about 30 years) and computer programming and applications, as well as a librarian and health/sexuality educator. I don't believe that retirement puts an educator on the back burner. On the contrary, it provides her time to think, to learn, to make connections, to create, and to analyze: to become a 21st century student. In my case, the topics are all things Literacy, with a rich sauce of technology. I also am a dedicated member of the Maine Native Studies Committee, a group of volunteer educators supporting the implementation of LD 291. My blog U&D (see link below) supports this mission. |
