| Introduction | I made my first quilt in the Summer of 2008 and choose this creative outlet above all others. Aside from being organized to the point of being borderline obsessive/compulsive, my other strongest trait is procrastination. I don't know whether waiting until the last minute is my way of 'living on the edge', or it's that there's way more pleasure in actually finishing something 'on time' when you start 5 minutes before you need it. Been married to the hubs for almost 40 years (I was WAY young...so was he). We have a beautiful daughter who will be 28 this year, teaches 4th grade, and married her soulmate this past October. We're down to one crazy, loco chihuahua (Paco), and are looking for another...which is probably a subconscious substitute for a grandchild. (One of these days). We live in Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC and can be in downtown Baltimore in about an hour, and on the beach in Florida in about 3-1/2 hours. When (notice I did not say IF) I win the lottery, we will live in a house, on a beach, where the temperature rarely dips below 70 degrees. (A girl's gotta dream.) |
