| Introduction | Currently in the ultrasound program to become a sonographer. Started this blog in Feb. 2010 to journal lessons God is teaching me..never realized how He would lead such special people to the blog to become such an encouragement and blessing to ME! :) Even if I'm unable to post many updates in the next year and a half, I know God will be with me, and I'll be learning more and hopefully growing closer to Him. One major lesson I've learned is God wants us to trust Him. He's not interested in what we can bring Him, but rather our unconditional surrender to His perfect will. Since HE wants what is best for us, and has already given us HIS Best (His Son Jesus) then of course His plan for our lives is certainly to give us a hope and a future! Jeremiah 29:11 My initials are T.R.Y. But it's best that I don't "TRY" to live life in my own strength, but rather Trust in, Rely on and Yield to (T.R.Y.) | Interests | in your eternal security that can only be found in and through Jesus' finished work on the cross. He paid the debt we owed for our sin, because if WE paid it, we'd never be able to go to heaven. THANKFULLY He made a way: He IS The Way! The Truth and the Life, no man or woman can come to the Father in Heaven except we go through Jesus. |

You've written a hit musical! How will you avoid having fame go to your head?
Jan. 8, 2012. To keep fame from going to my head: Every morning when I first awake, say aloud, "GOD loves TAMMI YATES! I am LOVED by my Creator." Then think about Who HE IS. This is humbling enough to keep me grounded. When we realize WHO we are in Christ, we won't be as apt to slip up & fall for the devil's temptations, no matter WHAT he throws our way.
