Introduction	I am a freshman at Brigham Young University as of August 30, 2006. I was raised in California. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am not a member of any political party, and I hang, like a dead pendulum, in the middle. I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southeast Idaho.
Interests	Religion, music, culture, food, exercise, new ideas, preaching, technology, history, war, peace (I'm for the latter!), current events, and dating, among others.
Favorite Movies	"Sophie Scholl" (German), "The Color of Paradise" (Farsi), "The Pink Panther" series (British), "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" (British again), and other foreign classics. Most of the American movies I like are also books, and I tend to like the books better. I think the literary brilliancy of "Harry Potter" was largely lost in the movies. I do like "The Day After Tomorrow, " "The Great Escape, " "Downfall, " and others.
Favorite Music	Animal Collective, The Shins, Architecture in Helsinki, Niyaz, Beirut, Shark Speed
Favorite Books	"Believing Christ, " "All Creatures Great and Small, " "The Lord of the Rings, " "The Shannara Trilogy, " "Night, " "Things Fall Apart, " "Julius Caesar" (I know, it's a play), "Harry Potter, " and others.
