Chen); did postgraduate study in geography, soil science & plant nutrition at Justus Liebig Univ. Giessen (under Prof. W. Moll & Prof. U. Scholz); holds an MSc soil science from U.P. Los Banos (GPA=1.18/1.0) as IRRI Fellow (Advisers: H.U. Neue & R. Badayos),his BSc from VSU (rank 4 of graduating class) as a Pres. F.E. Marcos-Cocofed National Scholar, & High School as Class Valedictorian from ESSU Borongan; has (co-) authored many refereed journal papers & some books.
