Introduction Member - Fantasy Sports Writers Association... Made my sportswriting debut at the Boston Globe as an intern on April 7, 1979. I also freelanced for the Associated Press as a correspondent and helped cover every Red Sox home game from April 1980 through September 1983. Started as a sportswriter at the New Haven Register on Jan. 1, 1984 and have covered every sport there is. Before I made the decision to be a writer tried acting and standup comedy. Did summer stock as an acting apprentice at the Williamstown (Mass.) Summer Theatre in 1975 and as member of the Second Company in 1976. Acted on stage with the likes of Christopher Walken, Frank Langella and Blythe Danner(Summer and Smoke), Ken Howard, Olympia Dukakis and Louis Zorich (Abe Lincoln in Illinois), Bob Picardo and Mildred Dunnock (Guess Who's Coming To Dinner). Also love playing in fantasy sports leagues. Fantasy Football is No. 1 and I'm currently in three fantasy baseball leagues. In 2005 developed, organized and co-hosted the Northeast Fantasy Football Radio Show on WICC-600, the first Northeast-based one-hour fantasy football radio show. Recently began my fourth season with the radio show.
